Wedding bell ringing

July 5, 2008 (Saturday)

Today is my husband's close friend Charlie's daughter, LuLu's wedding.

It was held at a 5 star hotel. When I enter the foyer of the ballroom there is a long queue at the entrance. Both myself and my husband was wondering why such a long queue. We then moved forward to see what is happening. And we reliased that every guest need to take a photo and bring the photo to the reception desk to sign in. We then follow the processed

We had meet up with couples of old friends and mingled with other guests at the cocktail reception at the ballroom's foyer.

By 8pm the ballroom door opens, all guest enter and be seated.

As we enter the ballroom, I noticed that the theme for the night was totally difference from other wedding function that I attended before.

All tables was lighted up with candlelight and flowers everywhere, there is this small blue spot light shine on center of the each table and it really bring up the romantic atmosphere and you feel that the whole place is full of love and happiness.

There are sitting arrangement on every table with specific name placed on the table. I then realised that it's western dinner not chinese dinner. ( no sharkfin soup or abolone ..ha.ha).

On every table there are a piece of chololate (bettle shape) and a small bottle of virgin oil (olive oil) ? for every guest.

It was a 4 course dinner and the food was so good, yummy.... Main course is either chicken or fish and free flow of dessert..... wow ...

As usual during the middle of dinner, traditional of Yum Seng ... and then followed by speech from the family members.

They then had a first dance by the newly wed couple. The newly wed couple invited guest to join in the dance.

The music was so romantic, the guest start dancing the whole night.

Those that they not dancing are enjoying the free flow desserts and you can see on everyone face are full of joy and laughter.

The whole function end closed to mdinight ... where everyone slowly moving out the ballroom.

Wow this is my most enjoyable wedding party.
